Kathy Foster

Kathy spent years inside the hospital system, and left it when she realized families needed something it couldn’t offer: an independent advocate. From navigating insurance chaos to coordinating care for a loved one across the country, she brings calm, clarity, and relentless advocacy when you need it most.

After having my baby, the medical bills started piling up fast , and I quickly realized the hospital had overcharged me. I was in the middle of postpartum recovery, exhausted and overwhelmed, getting new bills in the mail almost every day. Kathy stepped in and  handled everything, fought the overcharges, I can’t imagine having navigated that time without her

About Kathy Foster

Kathy Foster has spent her career working inside the systems most families struggle to navigate, from hospital billing and medical office coordination to insurance claims and patient appeals. She knows how care gets delayed, denied, or derailed, and more importantly, how to get it back on track.

For five years, Kathy served as the Patient Advocate at Sutter Coast Hospital, where she worked directly with patients to resolve billing disputes, fix insurance issues, and coordinate between departments and providers. Before that, she supervised a busy urology clinic, overseeing operations for five physicians and managing a team of twelve. Her work has spanned surgical coordination, medical records, benefits education, and Medicare audits.

What ties it all together is this: Kathy knows how the system works, and where it breaks. She started this practice because too many people are left to manage the chaos alone. Whether you’re facing a new diagnosis, trying to get care authorized, or just need someone to make sense of it all, she brings experience, calm, and clarity when it matters most.
